Chronic spontaneous urticaria is a skin condition in which itchy hives, skin redness, and swelling occur over a long period of time (at least 6 months), often without a clear cause.
Symptoms may:

- persist for many months or even years,
- significantly reduce quality of life, affect sleep, and interfere with work.
